Karen Ann's Colorful Brush

Bold complexities and vibrant expressions are an integral aspect of Karen Ann’s contemporary and abstract art. She seeks to create art that is both striking from a distance and interesting up close using a bold color palette, interesting textures, and multiple layers in her work.
Her delight for art has expanded throughout her life exploring with pastels, acrylics, inks, and watercolors. She has studied under artists Tom Lynch, Brigit O’Connor, and more recently, Kim Navarra. Karen Ann’s skill has truly been unleashed with a creative surge bringing her art to new levels.
She lives in Silicon Valley with her husband and their two dogs and feels that living in such an innovative and culturally diverse area helps her stay inspired.
Her paintings have been shown and sold at the Le Petit Trianon Theatre, the Cathy Down Art Gallery, and other venues in the San Francisco Bay Area.
“My passion is to approach every painting as a unique piece of art. My hope is that people connect emotionally with my work and can picture my pieces in their homes, to be shared with family and friends for years to come.”
